How do trans girls/women and/or transfems feel about periods? (from a transfem) (crossposting from r/trans for more input and to reach specifically more gals)

I’m transfem AMAB, so I don’t get periods. Obviously, they don’t sound very fun at all, but there is a certain sort of dysphoria or not-fitting-in I feel from not having periods. That being said, getting your period as a cis girl is labeled as a transition into womanhood and an affirmation of your femininity, and I feel like (at least in my environment) girls also bond over having periods and associated stuff. The fact that the transmascs that I know are pretty open about their periods makes me a little less sensitive to the gender implications of periods, but I still feel kind of left out and not as feminine because I don’t get a period. I’m wondering if anyone else feels this way and how they deal with that. Also anyone else aside from trans people that doesn’t get periods but feels like they should is welcome to share too.

PS: If anyone feels I should spoiler or CW this please feel free to let me know.

Edit for clarity: I am not doing hrt and do not plan to physically transition
