How did you realize you had an awful friend?

I was hanging out with a friend last month and he started talking about how he wants to have dozens of children with half a dozen women or more, but doesn’t want any of them to have any partners besides him.

I was astonished and disgusted and have not gotten over it. I find myself really reevaluating this person. =[
