How common is it not to talk to your parents often even if you’re living with them?

Just curious. I live with my parents in the same dwelling.

I do speak to my parents to ask them things but we don’t really hold conversations.

I see some people treat their parents like best friends and talk to them for hours. Is it weird not to talk and share thing with them even if you both are living together?
