Well, once I was sitting in a coffee shop and thinking about a childhood friend I hadn’t spoken to in years. As I was lost in thought, a stranger walked up to me and asked if I was “Sarah”. I was taken aback and said no, but the stranger persisted and said they were supposed to meet a Sarah at the coffee shop at that exact time. It turned out that the stranger had mistaken me for someone else, but what struck me as strange was that the name the stranger mentioned was the exact same name as my childhood friend who I had been thinking about just moments before. It was as if the universe was playing a trick on me, bringing up the name of my friend in such a random and unexpected way. It was definitely one of the strangest coincidences I’ve ever personally experienced.
