United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) is currently seeking applications from eligible applicants for the post of Health Specialist in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Key Jobs Responsibilities
The Health Specialist will perform the following functions:
- Support to programme development and planning in UHC through PHC and health financing
- Programme management, monitoring and delivery of results in UHC through PHC and health financing
- Technical and operational support to programme implementation in UHC through PHC and health financing
- Networking and partnership building in UHC through PHC and health financing
- Innovation, knowledge management and capacity building in UHC through PHC and health financing
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have:
- An advanced university degree in one of the following fields is required: public health, epidemiology, health research, global/international health, health policy and/or management
- Degree or diploma in health economics is an asset
- MA minimum 5 year’s of professional experience in one or more of the following areas is required: public health planning and management, maternal and neonatal health care
- Experience in health financing is an asset
- Experience working in a developing country is considered as an asset.
- Relevant experience in a UN system agency or organization is considered as an asset.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language is an asset.
- Nationality of Bangladesh.
