OP here! 🙂 Sometimes I wonder if it’s because it’s different to a lot of people because it has a different culture? I know a lot of people do like K-pop and I know there’s also a lot of people that don’t. Honestly, really just wondering why some people dislike k-pop so much that they feel the need to slander it and hate on it. Everywhere you go, apparently K-pop is seen as weird (? I’m not sure but it’s a vibe I get) and I sometimes feel like it’s not accepted. K-pop idols work really really hard and a lot of them are very very talented. A lot of people that do like K-pop don’t feel comfortable saying it because we’re going to be judged. But why are K-pop fans being judged for what kind of music they like? I don’t really understand the judgements attitude towards K-pop. I don’t get why people are bullied for liking K-pop. It never really seemed “weird” to me… For a lot of people who are fans of K-pop, seeing MVs from their favorite K-pop groups/soloists and listening to their music makes them happy- just like you listening to your favorite artists make you happy. A lot of K-pop groups and soloists tell their fans to love themselves and send good messages. Is it because the “image of K-pop”(?) throws people off?
(*I am asking this question because I genuinely want to know, why people have such a judgmental attitude towards it, because it makes me kind of sad that a lot of people are judging K-pop and these very talented idols before even trying it out or feeling the need to bully people who like K-pop.)
Thanks!
