It’s exploitative, in my opinion. Fabricated or not, to put that on TV is perverse. A lot of times, it talks about incest, rape, molestation, murder, etc. Not that they’re taboo topics—but there are better mediums to explore those contentious topics.
It’s like the Maury show. It profits off of the exploitation of others, and something about that aspect just comes off seedy.
