Flight attendants (thank you for doing what you do, btw), but why do you do it? Especially in today’s climate with cranky passengers?

I know someone who was a flight attendant part time over summer. They did it for free travel.

They were super into going around the world and so every summer, they would sign up with an airliner and plan their holiday around it, spending a couple of days in each place.
