Public Sector Superannuation Scheme Supply Chain Management Officer Jobs in Kenya
Job Description
The duties and responsibilities of the officer will entail assisting in: –
Sourcing for goods, works and services as per the procurement law;
Raising purchase orders for goods and services for approval;
Liaising with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services;
Maintaining and update a list of prequalified suppliers;
Assisting in undertaking market surveys to ensure the Scheme obtains value for money;
Ensuring safe custody of all procurement’s records; and
Participating in the opening quotations.
Requirement for appointment
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Purchasing and Supply Logistics, Business studies or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
Proficiency in computer applications;
Member of professional body either KISM or CIPS; and
Fulfill the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution
