Public Sector Superannuation Scheme Senior Driver Jobs in Kenya
Job Description
Duties and responsibilities at this grade entail: –
Driving the Scheme’s vehicle as authorized;
Carrying out minor mechanical adjustments;
Recognizing and reporting mechanical defaults of the vehicles;
Ensuring security and safety of the vehicle on and off the road;
Monitoring and reporting expiry of insurance policies for motor vehicles;
Supervise other drivers
Preparing and submitting reports on transport when need arises; and
Ensuring safety of passengers and/or goods therein.
Requirement for appointment
For appointment to this grade a candidate must have: –
A minimum period of four (4) years relevant work experience;
A Minimum Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education with a D+ (Plus) or its equivalent;
Passed the Suitability Test for Drivers from the respective Government Ministry;
The Occupational Trade Test III Certificate OR its Equivalent from a recognized institution;
A valid driving license free from any current endorsements(s) for classes of the vehicles the driver is required to drive;
Defensive Driving Certificate from a recognized institution
A valid Certificate of Good Conduct;
A First Aid Certificate course lasting not less than one (1) week from a recognized institution;
An accident free driving period of five (5) years;
Proficiency in computer applications; and,
Fulfill the requirements of Chapter- six of the constitution
