Responsibilities
• Financial Records Management: Maintain and review financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This includes managing ledger entries, invoices, and other financial documents. Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary.
• Reporting: Prepare financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Provide regular reports to management on the company’s financial status, highlighting trends and areas of concern.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions. This often involves tax filing and preparation.
• Tax Preparation: Prepare tax returns and ensure timely submission. Offer tax planning advice to minimize liabilities and ensure compliance with taxation legislation.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments to suppliers and prompt collection from customers.
Skills:
• Excellent bookkeeping skills and tally knowledge
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong ethical standards and integrity.
