Job Purpose:

The Cleaner plays a vital role in maintaining a clean and hygienic environment within the office premises. Reporting to the Administration and HR Assistant, this position is essential for ensuring a safe and organized workspace for staff and visitors.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all office areas.
  • Perform regular sweeping, mopping, and sanitization of floors.
  • Dust and clean surfaces, including windowsills, furniture, and fixtures.
  • Properly empty trash and dispose of waste in designated areas.
  • Keep an inventory of cleaning supplies, reporting shortages promptly.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and organized environment.
  • Support in setting up and organizing events, meetings, or workshops.
  • Collaborate with staff for a clean and pleasant environment.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the compound, gardens, and external areas.
  • Perform other cleaning and housekeeping duties as assigned.

    Qualifications and Competencies:

    • Previous cleaning experience preferred.

    • Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and chemicals.

    • Ability to follow instructions and maintain cleanliness standards.

    • Good communication and teamwork skills.

    • Physical stamina and attention to hygiene.

    • Respect for infection control and safety protocols.
