Kenya BioVax Institute Office Assistant Jobs
Job Purpose:
Perform a wider range of simple tasks, activities and general routine office services which include; supervising outsourced cleaning services to ensure office/ground cleanliness, undertaking messengerial duties and preparing tea and refreshment among others as per the Institute standards.
Requirements:
A minimum period of two (2) years relevant work experience;
Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results;
Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education mean grade D plain; and
Proficiency in computer applications.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
Organize for general cleanliness of the office, machines, equipment and apparatus;
Arrange in an orderly manner office equipment and furniture;
Lock and open office premises;
Organize and arrange meeting venues;
Record and dispatch letters, files and documents to ensure proper filing and traceability;
Keep an inventory of kitchen and cleaning tools and equipment.
Participate in arranging for collection and disposal of waste;
Maintain Institute’s gardens and compound
Carry out photocopying and document binding;
Prepare and serve office tea and other refreshments;
Collect and deliver office items, documents, mail, parcels and postage;
Provide guidance to all outsourced cleaning providers and also report on their work performance; and
Maintain general cleanliness of offices, machines, equipment and apparatus.
