PWC Senior Finance Transformation Manager Jobs in South Africa
Role Summary:
The experienced Finance Transformation specialist will be a senior member of the team and will be expected to grow and deliver on a target client portfolio, assist in the development of thought leadership to solve client / market / industry issues and lead large Finance Transformation engagements, managing the client and delivery teams through the execution of the project.
It is expected that the candidate will have project management experience and will be able to manage the entire lifecycle of the engagement from design through to operations.
Qualifications / Certifications required:
B.Comm / B.Compt / B.Acc Hons (essential)
CA / ACMA / CIMA accreditation (highly preferred)
Microsoft applications (Powerpoint, Excel, Word and MS Project)
ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft), EPM systems (SAP, Oracle, OneStream, Tagetik, Anaplan etc)
Proven experience managing and leading teams
Experience required:
Minimum of 10 – 12 years experience within Advisory / consulting / business / industry experience
Audit Manager exposure
Knowledge of leading practices in group and business services / support services with specific expertise in Finance Transformation, Finance Processes, Operating Model Design and Implementation, Shared Services and Enterprise Performance Management

Leveraging research (internal and external knowledge) and trends to develop thought leadership
Solution development:
Collaboration in developing answers to complex client issues and developing tailored solutions
Response to client requests and RFPs
Developing and leading proposals and development of hypothesis / business cases
Providing advice to client and team as subject matter expert
Research and alignment of firm service offerings and expertise
Developing industry / solution knowledge
Engagement delivery:
Managing projects of high complexity (locally, on the African continent & participation in global engagements)
Managing alliance partners and joint business relationships (contractors and subcontractors to projects)
Managing engagement economics of projects
Managing project teams which includes preparing and monitoring project plan, allocating tasks to individuals, on-site quality control and team etc
Senior stakeholder engagement
Skill sets required:
Ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence;
Ability to lead and manage complex programs
Ability to define the overall strategic vision for the project and lead the successful project execution
Deep understanding of the Financial Processes including but not limited to the transactional processes (Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report), Close and Consolidation, Reporting (Statutory, Management ESG & Compliance), Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting
Good understanding of modern Finance Function operation models
Good understanding of the technologies enabling the Finance Function, preferably Microsoft, SAP, or Oracle
Ability to perform pre sales activities and presentations, building proof of concepts (POCs), prototypes and provide high level consulting.
