Mr. Salem is the Assistant Under Secretary for Housing and Urban Development Sector in Yemen, in addition to representing the Ministry of Public Works and Roads in the Social Protection Advisory Committee. He graduated from the University of Aden, College of Engineering, with a degree in Civil Engineering. Salem’s career began as a Supervision Engineer, progressing through various roles including Head of Technical Supervision Department, Deputy Director of Planning, and Director of Supervision. He served as Municipality Manager for Crater and Alboriqa, later becoming the Director-General of Classification and Registration, and then Director-General of Urban Development.
