United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) is currently seeking applications from eligible applicants for the post of Deputy Representative Programme in Kingston, Jamaica.

Key Jobs Responsibilities
The Deputy Representative Programme will perform the following functions:
- CO Programme planning and development
- Support to the Representative on managing the CO
- Monitoring and quality control of Programmes
- Alliance building and UN System coordination
- Private Sector Engagement and Partnerships
- Innovation, knowledge management and capacity building
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have:
- Advanced university degree in one of the following fields is required: social sciences, international relations, government and public relations, public or social policy, sociology, social or community development, or another relevant technical field.
- Minimum 8 year’s of professional development experience that combines technical and managerial leadership in development cooperation at the international level, some of which served in developing countries is required.
- Relevant professional experience in any UN system agency or organization is considered an asset.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Knowledge of another official UN language or local language of the duty station is considered an asset.
