Lamu County Physical Planner Jobs in Kenya
This will be the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the supervision and guidance of a senior officer.
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities at this level will include:
Preparing physical planning development plans;
Undertaking feasibility studies on physical, social, economic and environmental characteristics;
Implementing physical plans for national, regional, urban areas and cities; processing development applications; and maintain physical planning records.
Any other relevant duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, the ideal candidate shall be required to:
Be a Kenyan citizen;
Have a Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines; – Urban and Regional Planning, Urban
Be a graduate member of Kenya Institute of Planners or Architectural Association of Kenya (Town Planning Chapter); and
Have a certificate in computer applications skills from a recognized institution.
