Lamu County Co-Operative Development Officer Jobs in Kenya
Duties and Responsibilities
Supervision of Cooperative development programmes
Project appraisal
Credit administration
Development and implementation of accounting systems
Enforcing the Co-operative Societies Act, legislations and rules therein and Societies by-laws
Advising the society on proper conduct of meetings and implementing Co-operative policies.
Implementation of policies and coordination of all cooperative development activitics
Any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
Requirements for Appointment
For Appointment to this grade a candidate must have:
Be a Kenyan citizen;
Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Cooperative Management, Business Administration, Sociology, Law, Commerce, Entrepreneurship Management and organisational Development or Economics from recognised institution; and
Certificate in computer application from a recognized institution.
