Lamu County Assistant Director Human Resource Management Jobs in Kenya
Duties and Responsibilities
Specific duties and responsibilities will be as follows:
Assist the Board in planning and implementing Board’s mandate;
Assist in overseeing and supervising daily Board Human Resource operations;
Assist in all staffing duties i.e., hiring, training evaluation etc.
Adhere and encourage compliance with regulation and internal policies;
Assist the Board in monitoring activities assigned to other staff}
Assist the Board in monitoring progress towards set objectives.
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, the ideal candidate shall be required to have:
Be a Kenyan citizen;
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource/Human Resource Management, Industrial Relation, Public/Business Administration or any other relevant and equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
Master’s degree in Human Resource/Human Resource Management, Industrial Relation, Public/Business Administration or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized institution will be an added advantage;
Have a relevant working experience of not less than eight (8) years in Human Resource Management;
Be a registered member with the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM);
Attended a Senior Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution.
