Requirements:
Relevant B-qualification.
At least 2 years experience within relevant field (Agriculture, Grain Marketing, Management and Economics).
Basic knowledge of Global and Local Agri Financials and Economics.
Ability to do cost calculation, breakeven calculations and profit calculations for grain production.
Skills/Competencies:
Sound understanding of SAFEX instruments.
Ability to accommodate diverse client profiles.
Attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
Establish business portfolio:
Identify portfolio of producers and gather data about each one of these producers financial and grain portfolio needs and feed data into the system.
Identify relevant strategies for market access aligned to the corporate grain market access strategy.
Identify opportunities and risks based on individual producers portfolio drivers and market indicators.
Discuss performance of portfolios with producer and recommend relevant market access solutions.
Consult and execution:
Discuss the strategy, contract type and calculate price.
Verify the price with the trader and issue quotation.
Verify the final price with the producer via voice logging system.
Fill bid on basis link.
Administration:
Book, create and approve contracts on EOCS.
Submit for final verification of contracts according to delegated authority.
Effectively respond to client queries/ enquiries.
Market Information:
Apply the information to formulate and re-align the regional market access strategy.
Liaise with producers to gather and disseminate information.
Coordinate producer and marketing group information sessions.
