Our client; a Logistics and Supply Chain Management in the Oil/Gas, and Humanitarian Sector, is in search of a vibrant and organized Receptionist to become a crucial part of their team. As a Receptionist, you will serve as the face of our company, ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient office operations.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome visitors warmly, creating a positive first impression of the company
  • Manage incoming calls, redirecting them or taking messages as necessary, and handle inquiries promptly and professionally
  • Maintain a tidy and welcoming reception area, ensuring it represents the company’s standards
  • Assist in scheduling and coordinating appointments, meetings, and conference room bookings
  • Manage correspondence, including emails and letters, and distribute them accordingly within the organisation
  • Assist in administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and office inventory management
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination within the office
  • Uphold security protocols by monitoring visitor logbooks and issuing visitor badges when necessary
  • Assist in organizing company events and coordinate logistics as needed
  • Provide support to colleagues with various administrative tasks when required

    Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in office management is a plus
  • Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar customer-facing role is preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic office equipment handling
  • Professional appearance and demeanor with a customer service-oriented attitude
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules
  • Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of other languages, particularly Arabic, is advantageous
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
