It can really improve things. My wife and I started sleeping apart when she was pregnant and my presence was making it hard for her to sleep comfortably. We’ve kept it up ever since because we don’t disturb each other by moving or snoring or getting up to pee or what have you. We do a bit of cuddling in her bed, maybe some other stuff, and then I go to the guest bedroom to sleep. We both sleep a lot better that way.
