United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) is currently seeking applications from eligible applicants for the post of Chief Education in Bamako, Mali.

Key Jobs Responsibilities
The Chief Education will perform the following functions:
- Programme development and planning
- Programme management, monitoring and quality control of results
- Advisory services and technical support
- Advocacy, networking and partnership building
- Innovation, knowledge management and capacity building
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have:
- Advanced university degree (master’s or higher) in education, economics, psychology, sociology or another relevant technical field.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant professional experience in programme planning, management, and/or research in education at the international level is required.
- Experience in managing education programme in both development and humanitarian context (Nexus)
- Familiarity with Education Sector coordination and clusters
- Experience in fostering effective partnerships (GPE, ECW, World bank)
- Contribution management, experience in management of large financial streams
- High level, upstream strategic thinking and action taking; strategic policy dialogue
- Effective programme planning, monitoring and reporting
- Experience in leading and managing large teams
