Key Responsibilities
We are looking for a reliable Site Agent to plan projects and oversee their progress along the way in a timely and cost-effective manner.
You will be responsible for budgeting, organization, implementation and scheduling of the projects.
Specific Duties:
Supervising and overseeing the direction of the project, ensuring that the client’s specifications and requirements are met, reviewing progress and liaising with quantity surveyors to monitor costs
Liaising with the client, other construction professionals and, sometimes, members of the public
Coordinating and supervising construction workers
Selecting tools and materials being utilized in the project
Making safety inspections and ensuring construction and site safety
Checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings
Maintaining quality control procedures
Assessing and minimizing risk in relation to the project
Writing reports and keeping on top of paperwork
Assist in negotiating contracts and securing permits and license
To supervise the construction Site Foreman
Person Specifications
Academic Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Civil and structural Engineering/building and construction or related courses
Professional Qualifications
Registered member of EBK.
Experience
At least 5 – 8 years’ experience as a site agent undertaking large projects
Skills and Attributes
Competent in conflict and crisis management
Leadership and human resources management skills;
Excellent time and project management skills;
Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards.
