Key Responsibilities:
Research and Analysis:
Plan, design, and execute research projects to gain in-depth insights into socioeconomic challenges, community needs, and opportunities for self-reliance among our members.
Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for program enhancement and growth.
Innovation Development:
Propose and develop innovative initiatives, interventions, and solutions that address identified challenges and enhance the effectiveness of the Socio-economic Empowerment Programme.
Collaborate with the program team to implement and scale innovative strategies, ensuring alignment with the program’s objectives and vision.
Program Evaluation and Impact Assessment:
Design and implement evaluation frameworks to assess the effectiveness and social impact of the Socio-economic Empowerment Programme on members’ self-reliance and overall well-being.
Measure and track program outcomes, indicators, and performance metrics to identify areas for continuous improvement.
Training and Capacity Building:
Collaborate with the training team to design and deliver capacity-building programs that empower members with the skills and knowledge necessary for self-reliance and socioeconomic growth.
Mentorship and Support:
Develop mentorship programs that provide guidance and support to members, fostering personal and professional development.
Offer technical assistance and mentorship to members seeking to improve their self-reliance capabilities.
Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Implementation:
Oversee the integration of ESG principles into the Socio-economic Empowerment Programme’s activities and initiatives, ensuring a sustainable and socially responsible approach.
Data Management and Reporting:
Ensure accurate and ethical data collection, storage, and management in compliance with data protection regulations and institutional policies.
Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on research findings, innovative initiatives, and program impact for stakeholders and donors.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in conducting research, data analysis, and program evaluation, preferably in the context of socioeconomic development or microfinance programs.
Demonstrated experience in developing innovative solutions, implementing successful projects, and driving positive social impact.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data collection and statistical analysis tools.
Knowledge of microfinance principles, savings mobilization, credit facilities, and socioeconomic development approaches.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and engaging manner.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including program members, community leaders, and external partners.
A passion for social justice, sustainable development, and making a positive difference in the lives of program members and their communities.
