NCBA Group Performance Reporting and Product Analytics Manager Jobs in Kenya
Job Purpose Statement
The jobholder will be the lead of performance measurement and reporting for retail business teams.
Drive reports automation utilizing the BI resources available in the bank.
Using data analytics develop capability of identifying customer’s data trends that can be monetized.
Participate in regular engagement meetings with business teams to promote a high performance culture.
Key Accountabilities (Duties and Responsibilities)
Business Analytics
Develop and continuously improve performance
dashboards on all KPIs cascaded to retail teams. This are daily, weekly, monthly, semi & annual dashboards.
Participate in regular business deep dives to analyse business unit performance to identify areas that require remedial action.
Working with the rest of the analytics and digital business team support digital business growth agenda through provision of relevant data to be uploaded on the digital lending platform.
Drive automation of reporting for retail teams on the available BI tools.
Perform other ad hoc analytics duties to be allocated to them from time to time.
Data value maximization and Report Automation
Participate in reviewing the data warehouse governance and structure to ensure the data meets and serves business needs.
Ensure all reports are done and sent on time, resolving (through engagement with relevant stake holders) any hindrances to the same
To build templates to provide the above as per SLAs agreed to.
Respond to ad-hoc requests in set SLA
Template 1
Support the implementation of appropriate systems and operational procedures to support sales, track MIS and profitability.
Customer
Meet internal customer needs within SLAs established for the department.
Continuous engagement with retail teams to drive internal satisfaction
Track and report customer experience metrics for business units one is in charge of in partnership with customer experience department and business units heads.
Learning and growth
Participate in training programs to up skill and gain relevant analytical skills to be able to meet the Business needs for the future.
Through regular trainings, aligning frontline to achieve desirable productivity.

Ideal Job competencies
Technical Competencies
Advance level competency in Excel
Advanced level competency on major business intelligence tools, specifically, SQL, Power BI, Python and SAP BI etc.
Strong Analytical skills
Proficiency in presentational skills.
A keen eye for detail, quality conscious and has a strong sense of responsibility and ownership
Sound Business knowledge
Good understanding of Relational Database Management Systems
Ideal Job Specifications
Academic:
Bachelor’s degree in a business related field
Technical:
Expertise in SQL, Python, Power BI.
Working knowledge of R and other Statistical tools
Professional:
Professional banking, accounting or IT course will be an added advantage.
Desired work experience:
Upto 8 years banking experience or equivalent.
