Brief Description
The UAS Operations Manager is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of Enterprise Solutions Division within Fahari Aviation. This role requires a seasoned professional with deep technical expertise in UAS technology, strong leadership abilities, and a strategic mindset to manage and scale UAS operations effectively.
The ideal candidate must ensure a high performing team of UAS Operators and support crew through development and implementation of operational standards, professional development, and leadership for a safe, legal and efficient operation of Fahari Aviation UAS that meets the operational requirements of the ROC.
Qualification)
Degree in a Technical Field, (Engineering, Computer GIS or any other relevant field).
Valid Remote Pilot License issued by ICAO contracting states and recognized by KCAA. (Multirotor and Fixed Wing).
Valid Class 1, 2, or 3 KCAA Medical License.
Years of Experience (Minimum)
At least 5 Years Work Experience in Aviation or related field.
At least 50 Hours in UAS Operations or related field logged in the logbook.
Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale operations and leading cross-functional teams.
Valid Driver’s License is an added advantage.
Shall not have had any conviction or administrative sanction under the Civil Aviation Act or the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority Regulations, which in the view of the Director, was sufficiently serious to render such person not fit to exercise any responsibilities in an aviation related position. – Must have a Certificate of Good Conduct valid within the last 12 months.

Initiative and energetic (able to hit the ground running with a task).
Experimentation mindset.
Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
