About the role:

The Senior Associate will work closely with the Director of Service Delivery to develop and deliver recruitment strategies aimed at ensuring a sustainable supply of caregivers for Shamiri’s three tier caregiving model. This role is crucial to our organization’s expanding footprint as we look to work in more schools in more counties in Kenya.

Roles and responsibilities:

Lead the development and implementation of recruitment strategies for both hub and partnership-based models of implementation.

Spearhead recruitment processes, from drafting calls for applications, advertising, and sourcing decisions, to application processing and documentation.

Provide leadership and coordination to the application processing teams, ensuring fair and thorough candidate evaluations.

Advocate for recruitment systems that align with the organization’s upscaling strategy.

Collaborate with the Director of Service Delivery to ensure a sufficient lay-provider pool for timely replenishment.

Present recruitment-based information and reports to internal and external stakeholders.

Develop post-recruitment reports and decks that align with organizational standards.

Collaborate with the Deliver team to develop Teacher’s engagement materials.

Assist the Director of Service Delivery in creating recruitment-related budgets, operation plans, and Gantt charts.

Liaise with partners to aid in the recruitment of schools in collaboration with the Deliver & Recruit team.
