Job Specification:
Serving of food and beverages
Duties and Responsibilities
The waiter is responsible for: –
Welcoming and seating guests
Reserving tables and conference room.
Carrying out table set-up
Wiping and arranging furniture in the restaurant
Wiping cutlery and glass ware; and assisting in food and beverage service
Person Specification:
For appointment to the grade, a candidate must have the following: –
Minimum KCSE ‘D’ Plain
Craft Certificate in Food and Beverage Production, Sales and Service or its equivalent
qualification from a recognized institution
Valid public Health Food handlers’ certificate
Proficiency in computer applications will be an added advantage
Fulfil chapter 6 of the Constitution of Kenya.
