Bandari Maritime Academy Senior Cook Jobs in Mombasa
Job Specification:
Prepares menu dishes following established recipes and using designated ingredients that meet
production and quality standards as part of cooking line.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Senior cook is responsible for: –
Setting up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
Ensuring all food and other kitchen items are stored properly
Monitoring stock and place orders when necessary
Supervising preparation of food and beverages
Supervising and setting up buffet service areas
Supervising and replenishing of food stuffs during service
Reporting on any defective equipment
Keeping a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
Person Specification:
Diploma in Food and Beverage Production or its equivalent from a recognized Institution
Certificate in culinary, baking and pastry techniques
Valid public health Food handlers’ certificate
Proficiency in Computer Applications will be an added advantage
Have experience in the Relevant field for at least four (4) years.
Fulfil chapter 6 of the Constitution of Kenya
