Job Specification:

Reporting to Senior Administrator Officer, the job holder will be responsible for repairs, cleaning &

maintenance of machines and the institutional infrastructure in various fields such as: electrical wiring & installation, electronics, solar PV, refrigeration and air conditioning.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Senior Artisan will be responsible for: –

Providing routine maintenance of the Academy’s infrastructure and instalments

Coordinating and reporting on maintenance programmes for assets within the institution.

Overseeing any contracted vendors in maintenance issues.

Maintaining records and databases and assisting to manage inventory.

Person Specification:

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have the following: –

Minimum D+KCSE qualification

Government Trade Test I Certificate/ Diploma/ Craft Certificate in electrical occupational fields from a recognized institution

Experience of four (4) years in relevant field

Proficiency in computer applications will be an added advantage
