Bandari Maritime Academy Assistant Artisan – Plumber Jobs in Mombasa

Job Specification:

Reporting to Senior Artisan, the job holder will be responsible for assisting in repairs, cleaning & maintenance of machines and the institutional infrastructure in plumbing.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Assistant Artisan will be assisting in: –

Providing routine maintenance of the Academy’s infrastructure and instalments

Coordinating and reporting on maintenance programmes for assets within the institution.

Overseeing any contracted vendors in maintenance issues.

Maintaining records and databases and assisting to manage inventory.

Person Specification:

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have the following: –

Minimum KCSE D ‘Plain’

Government Trade Test II/III or Diploma/craft Certificate in plumbing from a recognized

institution.

Two (2) years relevant experience

Proficiency in computer applications will be an added advantage

Fulfil chapter 6 of the Constitution of Kenya.
