Requirements for Appointment
Be a Kenyan citizen;
Be a holder of at least a first degree from a university recognized in Kenya;
A Master’s degree in Public Administration, Public Policy, Business Administration or Development Management from a recognized Institution will be an added advantage;
Working experience of not less than six (6) years;
Have qualifications and knowledge in administration or management; and
Must be computer literate
Duties and Responsibilities
The Sub-County Administrator shall be responsible to the respective Chief Officer/ Director for:-
Coordinating the management and supervision of the general administrative functions;
Developing policies and plans;
Ensuring effective service delivery;
Establishing, implementing and monitoring performance management systems;
Coordinating developmental activities to empower the community;
Providing and maintaining infrastructure and facilities of public services;
Facilitating and coordinating citizen participation in the development of policies and plans and delivery of services;
Exercising any functions and powers delegated by the County Public Service Board.
Perform any other function that may be assigned from time to time by respective Supervisor.
