When I was single, I was not interested in any random guy just approaching me and hitting on me no matter how good looking he is (if that’s what you are asking about). It can feel frightening when a man approaches me. I don’t know if I’m interested in him until I get to know him a little.
If I met him in a social or quasi social setting, especially a few times, and he also seemed interesting, kind and fun, the cold sore would not matter.
