Asian Development Bank (ADB) is currently seeking applications from eligible applicants for the post of Associate Treasury Analyst in Manila, Philippines. The duration of this post is 3 years.

Key Jobs Responsibilities
The Associate Treasury Analyst will perform the following functions-
- Provides diverse support to the Assistant Treasurer and relevant IS staff.
- Manages the funding transaction process to ensure requirements to settle the transactions are done timely and appropriately.
- Reviews the documentation requirements and conditions of new borrowing transactions to ensure compliance in a timely manner.
- Coordinates with external and internal counterparts in obtaining quotes for the indicative funding costs and prepares the data used for quarterly and year-end valuations financial reporting.
- Prepares the weekly funding report for internal use (TDFD Management Report), drafts the Advice of Net Proceeds and Executive Director’s (ED’s) memo for signature of supervisor, and maintains data tables of funding transactions.
- Assists in coordinating meetings and visits by rating agencies.
- Prepares all presentation materials for due diligence meetings, road shows, and meetings with relevant government authorities. Ensures all data and information are relevant to participants and accurate. The due diligence meetings are attended mostly by underwriters and other financial institutions while road shows are attended by prospective investors on ADB bonds.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Banking, Finance, Business Administration, Communications, or other relevant disciplines
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Advanced computer skills in MS Office applications; with sound knowledge of common word-processing, spreadsheets and graphics software used in multilateral organizations
- Thorough understanding of the role and function of the division/office/department and a good general understanding of the organization’s purpose.
- Good working knowledge of procedures, formats, and standards relevant to Treasury and in the performance of work
- Good coordination and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with minimum supervision and exercise judgment on matters of confidentiality and those requiring urgent attention especially in the supervisor’s absence
- Ability to exercise sound analytical skills
