Artists of Reddit, What’s a tip/trick you’ve learned that has improved how you make art that you think others could use to improve their own art?

It may seem really obvious but: Put more focus on your simple shapes. Build everything you draw out of stacked variations of cubes, spheres, pyramids, cones, rectangular prisms, and pipes and make sure that you draw those shapes WELL. People often treat the basic shapes as a step you have to go through to get to the artistry but if you just apply the energy right from the beginning everything turns out better.
