Duties and Responsibilities
Drafting legal opinions:
Providing and interpreting legal information;
Participating in policy development and advising on legal policy issues;
Developing legal documents and instruments;
Implementing strategic plans and objectives in respect to the legal function;
Providing legal risk reviews and advice;
Drafting contracts, internal policies;
Handling pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiries; and
Participating in developing and ensuring compliance with the company’s collaboration and partnership policy framework and strategy.
Requirements
Bachelors of Laws (LL. B) degree from a recognized institution;
Post graduate Diploma in Law (Advocates Training Programme) from the Kenya School of Law;
Membership to the Law Society of Kenya (LSK);
Been admitted as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya;
Current Advocates Practicing Certificate;
Proficiency in computer application; and
Fulfilled the provisions of Chapter Six of the Constitution
