Duties and Responsibilities
Developing, implementing and reviewing the resource mobilization and partnerships, strategies, standards, guidelines and procedures;
Identifying sources of funding;
Developing of partnerships and funding proposals;
Implementing policies, strategies and tools for carrying out research
Coordinating internal research activities
Coordinating Carrying out research to promote sustainability of high quality products, marketing and other activities;
Identifying methods for mobilization of donations, grants, gifts and endowments from both public and private sectors;
Supporting the mobilization of resource for financing the company startups and strategic projects;
Developing a data base on development partners and donors and their funded projects;
Monitoring the implementation of strategic and operational plans to ensure quality, timeliness and results in relation to planned objectives and expected outcomes;
Developing and implementing quality assurance, risks management and resource mobilization instruments and tools;
Implementing quality assurance and risk management programmes and systems in liaison with process owners;
Carrying out monitoring and evaluation and impact assessment of the companys programmes and projects;
Organizing and implementing constructive engagements with potential investors, collaborators, partners, donors and other relevant stakeholders on financing the company development programmes;
Building and maintaining good relationships, linkages with investors, donors and development partners and other stakeholders;
Developing public private partnerships strategies and plans and proposing frameworks for adoption;
Initiating development and refining of the partnership development strategies in liaison with other departments or units; and
Developing of the division’s work plan and budget.
Requirements
A minimum period of eight (8) years relevant work experience, at least three (3) years of which must have been in a supervisory role;
Bachelors Degree in any of the following disciplines: Strategic Management, Project Planning and Management, Finance, Economics and Development Studies, Investment, Business Information Technology, Commerce (Business Information Systems, Operations Management option), Marketing, Communication or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
Masters Degree in any of the following disciplines: Strategic Management, Project Planning and Management, Finance, Economics and Development Studies, Investment, Business Information Technology, Commerce (Business Information Systems, Operations Management option), Marketing, Communication or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
Certificate in Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks;
Membership to a relevant professional body;
Proficiency in Computer application skills;
Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results; and
Fulfilled the provision of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
