Role Overview
We are looking for a high-performing business development lead to help us meet our client acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. You will be responsible for maximizing our sales team’s potential. The business development lead will also build and maintain relationships with current and prospective clients in order to keep business growth opportunities in the pipeline.
Desired Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing/Technology/Sales or Equivalent
Experience in technology, agency, media, start-ups, and/or consulting industries.
5+ years prior experience in business development, technology, or marketing fields
Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
A proven history of successful leadership
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Must be a strategic thinker and have strong negotiation skills
Possess a collaborative mindset and work well as part of a team
Superior time management abilities and capable of meeting deadlines
Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask
Up to date on industry trends, as well as laws and regulations
Ability to build strong relationships with clients and industry contacts
Deep understanding of technology & digital media
Responsibilities
Mastermind business growth strategies to help meet organizational goals and objectives
Analyze data and create reports to identify areas of business growth
Bid on new projects(RFPs, RFQs, etc)
Build and nurture client relationships in order to continue winning new contracts
Attend networking events and build industry connections in order to facilitate business growth
Package products and services including pricing to drive sustainable revenue growth
Drive overall company revenue growth by implementing modern sales and business
development strategies
Work with other department heads to determine company goals and KPIs
Conduct market research to inform strategic business decisions
Oversee sales efforts to ensure all efforts are aligned with business goals
Negotiate new projects and contract terms with new clients
Lead the business development team
