Americans, What do you think of how schools teach math?

I don’t think I’m qualified enough to be able to give a proper opinion. Most Americans know basic math and lots of more advanced math in high-school is rarely ever used again like trigonometry.

Now if schools taught more personal finances math including how bad and good debt differ, interest rates work, mortgages work and basic investing THAT would be nice.
