Americans of Reddit who did not vote, why?

I live in Canada now, so I don’t have the capability to vote in many things down south anymore. Given that my last state of residence was California my vote is fairly hollow at this time as in presidential elections, it’s virtually a sure bet how that state will vote.

Should circumstances change and California becomes a battleground state, I’ll reconsider.
