Americans of Reddit, what do you actually think us Brits are like?

As an American who has lived and worked in the UK, they are very similar for the most part.

London folks are pretty much interchangeable with those in NYC.

Mid-sized cities further north like Manchester seemed to have people similar to those I’ve seen in Philly or Boston.

The people out in the smaller villages seemed a lot like what we have in our smaller Northeastern towns. Many a little more working class in terms of values, but they would get along if they met.
