U.S. Embassy Grants Coordinator Jobs in Rwanda
Duties
The Grants Coordinator is a Grants Officer for grants managed by the Political/Economic (Pol/Econ) Section. The incumbent coordinates interagency efforts to design, solicit, select, and manage development assistance, humanitarian assistance, and economic support programs in line with current priorities and resources. The incumbent must acquire and maintain a Department of State Grants Warrant and is responsible for ensuring compliance with reporting, financial, legal, and administrative requirements relating to the awarding and management of government grants, including conducting site visits, risk mitigation, and monitoring and evaluation. Incumbent is directly supervised by the Senior Political Officer.
Qualifications and Evaluations
Requirements:
Experience:
At least two (2) years work experience to include managing budgets or accounting, writing reports, and/or prioritizing multiple administrative tasks is required.
Education Requirements:
Two (2) years of university study is required.
Language:
Fluency of English is required. (This may be tested).
Qualifications:
All applicants under consideration will be required to pass medical and security certifications.
