I’ll try to keep this short, but one of my friends recently had a dad who passed away, and another of my friends is a funeral director.
He agreed to commission a casket, do a service, you know, the whole deal, for cheap since he’s a friend. He even offered some extra things just because he’s nice, things you wouldn’t normally care about like an extra nice coffin or soft sheets, or whatever other BS they sell.
It turns out that the director doesn’t really own the funeral home and he can’t give these things out for free, except corporate finds out after the service is done. So now the friend whose dad died is on the hook for all these extra bills and he’s trying to say that it’s the funeral director’s fault.
The director is agreeing to pay a part of the extra fees but he still wants the first friend to pay for a large part of it. Anyways, this has been going on.
