Kenya School of Government Technician / Engineering Assistant Jobs in Kenya
Specific Duties and Responsibilities Will Entail:
Collecting baseline data for water and sanitation planning;
Identifying sites for water and sanitation structures;
Conducting preliminary topographic, hydrological, socio economic surveys;
Data collection for water and sanitation demand estimation;
Preparing of Feasibility Study Reports;
Participating in site inspections;
Preparing of payment certificates;
Participating in implementation of projects;
Preparing project progress reports;
Participating in stakeholder consultative forums;
Participating in assessment of water and sanitation facilities;
Developing project proposals;
Participating in commissioning of completed projects;
Preparing project designs.
Qualifications and Work experience
For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:
Diploma in Civil/Water/Electrical/Mechanical/Building Engineering or equivalent from a
recognized institution.
Registration as Engineering Technician by the Kenya Engineering Technology Registration Board
(KETRB);
Proficiency in relevant computer applications;
Proficiency in Auto-CAD/Civil 3D/Sewer CAD/Water CAD and other draughting computer
applications;
