Migori County Assistant Director Education Jobs in Kenya
Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare education proposal for funding
Implement education policies
Evaluate education programmes
Manage funds allocated to education programmes
Implement education curriculum
Oversee auditing of financial resources in educational institution
Carry out research on indigenous languages and all forms of national and cultural expressions
Implement capacity building programmes for education managers, committees and boards
Requirements for Appointment
Be a Kenyan citizen
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Arts or Science from a recognized institution and a post graduate Diploma in Education from a recognized institution;
iii. Master’s degree in any of the following disciplines: education, arts, Project Planning & Management, Education Communication and Technology, science, or business administration in a management related field from a recognized institution will be an added advantage;
Knowledge and relevant work experience of not less than six (6) years and has at least three (3) years’ experience at management level;
Proficiency in computer applications; and
Demonstrated a high degree of professional competence and administrative capability
