Novotel Demi Pastry Sous Chef Jobs in Kenya
Job Description
Become proficient at creating all varieties of pastries and baked goods including but not limited to cakes, breads, cookies, and desserts.
Produce all necessary food for all food service operations as required and instructed by the Pastry Chef.
Maintaining quality and quantity control in all aspects, from portion control to freshness of the product presented.
Be familiar with the other kitchen sections, promoting flexibility and productivity.
Ensure all food produced is in line with kitchen recipes and standards.
Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Clean and maintain assigned station and overall kitchen through practicing good safety and sanitation.
Qualifications
Diploma in Culinary Arts or related field
Previous experience working in a busy kitchen
Reliable and hardworking.
Has excellent communication skills, strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
Team player with the ability to work under pressure.
