Plastic Manufacturing Company Mechatronic Engineer Jobs in Kenya
Qualifications
Should have a Diploma/Degree in Mechatronics
MUST have experience successfully managing manufacturing machinery.
Thorough knowledge of the mechanical and electrical aspects of a machine
Proficiency in CAD software for designing and drafting engineering drawings.
Experience in PLC programming and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) development.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to machinery and automation.
Skills & Abilities
Design and develop mechatronic systems for plastic manufacturing processes, including injection molding, extrusion, and packaging.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand production requirements and develop innovative solutions that optimize productivity, quality, and safety.
Conduct research and analysis to identify new technologies, components, and materials that can enhance machinery performance and reduce costs.
Create and review detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and schematics for machine components and systems.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to source necessary parts and equipment for mechatronic systems.
Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of automated machinery and systems.
Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair activities on mechatronic systems to ensure uninterrupted production.
Implement and monitor control systems, sensors, and data acquisition tools to collect and analyze operational data for process optimization.
Collaborate with the production team to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reliability, and quality.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in mechatronics, robotics, and automation.
