Job summary:
The Part-Time Social Media Manager will play a crucial role in building and maintaining our brand presence across various social media platforms. Your primary responsibility will be to create engaging content, interact with our online community, and implement strategies to increase brand visibility and awareness. This position offers a unique compensation structure based on the achievement of specific brand visibility goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation: Develop creative and compelling content for our restaurant’s social media channels, including posts, stories, photos, videos, and graphics, aligned with our brand identity and target audience.
Content Scheduling: Plan and schedule social media posts in advance using scheduling tools to ensure consistent and timely content delivery.
Community Engagement: Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, engage with followers, and foster meaningful interactions to build a loyal online community.
Brand Promotion: Implement strategies to increase brand visibility and awareness, including running social media ad campaigns, collaborations with influencers or local businesses, and participation in online events or challenges.
Analytics and Reporting: Track key performance metrics, such as reach, engagement, and follower growth, using analytics tools, and provide regular reports to evaluate the effectiveness of social media efforts and inform future strategies.
Branding Consistency: Ensure that all social media content reflects our brand voice, values, and aesthetic guidelines, maintaining a cohesive and professional online presence.
Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on current social media trends, algorithm changes, and industry best practices to leverage new opportunities and optimize content performance.
Collaboration: Work closely with the management, and external partners to align social media activities with overall marketing objectives and promotional campaigns.
Qualifications:
Previous experience managing social media accounts for businesses or brands.
Strong understanding of various social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, as well as social media management tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a creative flair for content creation.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently.
Knowledge of the restaurant industry and familiarity with local market dynamics is a plus.
