Job Specifications
This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer.
Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail:
Attending to general routine office services;
Performing messengerial duties;
Performing cleaning services;
Collecting and disposing of general waste;
Ensuring tidiness of the working environment;
Providing specifications for cleaning materials and equipment;
Dusting offices and ensuring habitable office conditions;
Keeping safe custody of cleaning materials and equipment;
Preparing and serving refreshments;
Moving or carrying office equipment, furniture and ensure orderly arrangement and
Dispatching letters, files and other documents.
Person Specifications
Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education Mean Grade D+ (plus) or any other equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
Proficiency in computer applications; and
Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution.
Skills and competencies
Interpersonal relationship skills;
Communication skills; and
Ability to work in a team.
